Terms of service
Last updated 24 October 2026 · Audytee is a product of Codelix.
These terms are the agreement between Codelix, which makes Audytee, and the firm that uses it. By creating a firm account or accepting an invitation into one, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and, if you are an owner, the firm.
1. The service
Audytee helps accounting practices track statutory compliance, manage work, bill clients and communicate. It is a tool for professionals: the firm remains responsible for the accuracy of what it files, bills and sends. Due dates in Audytee follow published rules and extensions as we know them; a date marked "verify" should be checked against the notification before relying on it.
2. Accounts and members
- Each member uses their own sign-in and keeps it confidential. A firm owner decides who joins the firm and what each role may do.
- The firm is responsible for what its members do in Audytee and for keeping member access current when people leave.
- We may suspend an account that is used to break the law, attack the service or harm other users, after telling the owner unless the harm is ongoing.
3. Plans and payment
- Firms use Audytee on the plan shown in Settings › Plan. Each plan is one monthly price for the whole firm, exclusive of GST, with a limit on the number of members; it renews monthly until cancelled.
- A trial is free and ends on the date shown; nothing is charged unless a paid plan is chosen.
- Payment is collected through Razorpay. If a payment fails, the plan shows as past due; the firm keeps access to its data and can settle the amount to continue.
- Prices may change with 30 days' notice to firm owners by email.
4. Your data
The firm owns the information it puts into Audytee. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. A firm owner can export all of the firm's data at any time and can ask us to delete the account.
5. Connected services
Firms and members may connect third-party services such as Gmail, Outlook, WhatsApp, Razorpay, Zoho Books, Tally and the GST portal through Sandbox. Each connection is subject to that provider's own terms, is made with the firm's or member's own account, and can be disconnected at any time. We are not responsible for a provider's availability or charges.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not use Audytee to send unsolicited bulk messages, to store information you have no right to hold, or to attempt to access another firm's data.
- Do not reverse engineer the service or resell it without a written agreement with Codelix.
7. Availability and support
We aim for Audytee to be available at all times and tell firm owners in advance of planned maintenance. Support is available at info@audytee.com on working days. Where a problem is ours, we fix it as quickly as we can; we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
8. Liability
Audytee is provided as a tool, and professional judgement stays with the firm. To the extent the law allows, Codelix's total liability for any claim arising from the service in a year is limited to the fees the firm paid for Audytee in that year, and Codelix is not liable for indirect losses such as penalties, interest or lost profit arising from a missed filing or an incorrect document.
9. Ending the agreement
A firm may stop using Audytee at any time; the plan ends at the close of the paid period. We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately for a serious breach. On ending, the firm has 30 days to export its data before deletion.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Changes to these terms are announced to firm owners by email at least 30 days before they take effect, except changes required by law.
